The house has 2 floors.

In the wide living room is also a stove, a salamander stands (febr. 2006). The couches in the living room are two a person sleep banks. Because of this this apartment has been arranged for four persons.

Both guest rooms have their own entrance in the patio, the patio, where you can sit deliciously.

The showers of the house and Quarto Amarelo are regulated by a gas boiler. Casinha Verde has 100 litres electric boiler. There is a connection with the mains water and for the evacuation recently a new septictank are beside the existing tank (3,000 litres.) is placed The tank has been placed in accordance with the new environmental requirements

Surroundings

The Quinta lies beautifully central. That is also the experience of our guests. For the daily shopping is it only 15 minutes to Rio Maior (4 large hypermarkets) and also 15 minutes to Caldas da Rainha where you can find at least 8 large hypermarkets. In Caldas da Rainha is a daily market is, also on Sunday.

The beaches

With approximately 25 up to 40 minutes drive there is a great choice several beaches. The surf beaches of Peniche (Baleal), the beautiful lagoon which starts at Foz the Arelho, the splendid bay of São Martinho do Porto, the long beach of Salgado and the superb beach of Nazaré.

Cultural cities:

For the B&B guests it is very important that there is sufficient cultural offer in the surroundings. In less than 1 a 1.25 hour drive the following cities can be visited: Lisbon, Sintra, Torres Vedras, Peniche, Óbidos, Santarém, Leiria, Tomar, Alcobaça, Bathalha, Fátima, Marinha Grande, Nazaré, Porto de Mos and there is still much more.

Walking:

Much of the guests come for walking. We have described a number of walks around the Quinta. In the nature areas you go for beautiful walks. These walks are for example in Serre de Candeeiros and Sere the Aire. These are the two most beautiful nature areas of Portugal and they just lie beside our door. But it is also suburb walking in the nature area of Sintra.

Where is the Bed & Breakfast?

The Quinta is situated in the hills between Caldas da Rainha and Rio Maior, just one hour north of Lisbon. To both Caldas da Rainha and Rio Maior it is approximately 12 till 14 kilometres. The Quinta lies central of, for example to Sintra (113km), Batalha (58km), Alcobaça (39km), Nazaré (40km), Fátima (87km), Óbidos (16km), Peniche (40km), Santarém (43km) and of course also Lisbon (99km). But also the golf courses and the ocean beaches are nearby. The superb ocean beaches lie more or less 25 minutes distance.

East and south of the Quinta you will find splendid nature areas. At east is that the Serra the Candeeiros and the Serra the Aire. The two most beautiful nature areas of Portugal as it were beside the door.

At south the nature areas Serra the Montejunto and the nature area of Sintra.
